Day 1

Kilimanjaro Airport - Hotel in Arusha

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our tour guide, will be holding a poster with your name who will transfer you to Arusha (45-60 minutes). The guide will transfer you to Two mountains Lodge in Arusha city one of the fascinating touristic towns in Tanzania. Depending on the time of arrival one can explore the town by the help of a local guide. The Arusha Town is known as the safari capital of the world but it is often overlooked in favor of its more glamorous, better known neighbors – Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. But Arusha has a wealth of experiences to offer from safaris in Arusha National Park, to breathtaking hiking on Mount Meru

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will be heading into the Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. In the afternoon you will eat your lunch at the picnic overlooking Tarangire River before you depart to Karatu Area where you will overnight at Farm of dreams Lodge.

Day 3

Farm of dreams lodge - Ngorongoro Crater - Farm of dreams Lodge

After your breakfast in the hotel, early you depart to enter the conservation area of Ngorongoro and descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning, full-day game drive. The Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater, after which you will climb up of the crater and drive back to your lodge.

Day 4--

Farm of dreams lodge - Ndutu

After your breakfast at the hotel, early depart to Ngorongoro conservation area towards Ndutu plains. The Ndutu plains is a seasonal location tucked between the NCAA and Serengeti which allows off-road game drives.You will be staying at Ndutu area for 4 days chasing the migrations and get a chance to witness a new born of wildebeest and zebras.

Dinner and overnight shall be at an amazing Serengeti Heritage tented camp.

Day 6-7

Ndutu plains – Central Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning after your breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park, and begin your journey in the famous Serengeti endless plains, home of one of the largest wildlife population in the world.

Day 8

Serengeti plain - Olduvai gorge - Maasai tribe

After breakfast at the lodge we depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with the packed lunch, we will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of the Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.We arrive in time for lunch at the Olduvai Gorge. After we will visit maasai tribe along the way to Ngorongoro crater.

Day 9

Farm of dreams Lodge - Lake Manyara national park - Two mountains Lodge

After breakfast we depart to the Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with our packed lunch. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions (rare), as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. In the late afternoon drive to Arusha.

Day 10

After breakfast our guide will escort you on the final leg of your journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Uganda where you will meet and greet our driver and transferred to your hotel in Uganda.

Day 11

Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning after your breakfast your driver/guide will meet you at your hotel, and he will take you through the details of your trip. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is located in the southwestern part of Uganda for gorilla tracking. You will have a stopover at the equator to take photos and the other one inMbarara to have your lunch. Along the way you will see a lot of sightings such as the beautiful scenery as you approach the park, this park is also endowed with a lot of plant and animals species like the mountain gorillas chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, forest elephants, birds, and waterfalls though Mountain gorillas are most popular. Check-in at the lodge, unwind, have dinner and an Overnight in Gorilla mist camp/ Silver back Lodge.

Day 12

Gorilla Tracking -Bwindi forest

On this day you will need to be very early, by 6:00am you should be up, have breakfast, and pack your lunch. Drive ahead reaching the Park headquarters, where you will be briefed by the ranger guide concerning what to do and not to do while in the park. Thereafter proceed with the ranger to look out for the mountain gorillas, this involves hiking up and down rugged paths whereby you will need to be physically fit and also carry a walking stick. Also you can use the local porters to carry your luggage. When you meet these gentle giants follow what your ranger guide tells you especially standing 6 meters away from them as you watch the mothers feed the young ones, the juveniles playing and the silver backs guarding the territory. How long this search will take is based on where the gorillas are located and feeding from so it can take 2-8 hours. Also don’t forget to carry enough water, a rain coat, sturdy shoes, long sleeved trousers, and snacks. Return back to your lodge after trekking. In the afternoon you may choose to relax at the lodge or go for a walk through the Batwa community/homesteads, see how they live and enjoy their cultural performances through dance and drama.

Day 13

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Ishasha Sector

After your early breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the Ishasha sector which is the southern sector of the park. Along the way you will have sights of different animal species including; the birds, bushbucks, elephants, gazelles, buffaloes, monkeys, and kobs, but the tree climbing lions are most common. On your arrival, check in at the lodge and enjoy your lunch, as you prepare to engage in a launch/boat cruise on Kazinga channel in the afternoon. This boat trip takes 2 hours and will give you an opportunity to watch different water animals closer, some of the animal species include; hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes along the banks. Also birds like the Saddle billed stork, African fish eagle, pink backed pelicans, Pied and malachite kingfisher, African Skimmer and the shoebill thats if you are lucky. Return to the lodge

Day 14

Morning Game drive/Chimpanzee tracking and Depart to Entebbe

Take your breakfast in the morning. This day being your last, you may opt for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi trail where you will have chance to see animals such as the lions, warthogs, elephants, topis, buffaloes among others, also during this morning you will observe a number of different bird species or choose to visit the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Thereafter, start off your journey to Kampala, you will stopover in Mbarara for Lunch. After lunch, proceed to Kampala whereby you will reach in the afternoon.
